Zahaan began his career as a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton before joining the UK Office of the e-Envoy as a Senior Policy Adviser on broadband and later Assistant Director in charge of the UK’s e-Government Delivery Plan. Zahaan then moved to the Department for International Development where he wrote the UK’s award-winning global HIV/AIDS strategy and helped negotiate the primary school education commitments in the G8’s Gleneagles communiqué.

Zahaan joins Gov3 directly from Washington, DC where he was working as a consultant advising the World Bank on corporate strategy during the recent Presidential transition. He has an MBA from Stanford and is a Fulbright Scholar.
